Maple Ridge Building Boom

Maple Ridge Town Centre had an estimated $41.3 million in development applications in the first half of 2012. As of June there were 360 active applications for projects located across the community, with the majority located in our Town Centre. Safe to say that the Maple Ridge Town Centre Investment Incentive Program (TCIIP) has benefited all of Maple Ridge.

The unprecedented level of developer interest and resulting construction boom clearly demonstrate how the vision of Maple Ridge Council for the Town Centre has caught the imagination of the marketplace. Downtown Maple Ridge - the place to be!

The Town Centre Area Plan encourages high density mixed-use and residential development. Among the most affordable areas in the region, Maple Ridge is forecast to double in population and jobs by 2040. We’re attracting a lot of interest from prospective homeowners and developers alike who appreciate having services, shopping, amenities and transit close at hand. Residential units in the Town Centre are expected to reach 11,065 by 2021.
